Description
Most people use charred oak kegs to turn cheap liquor into fine liquor. This version does include the spigot (faucet), so it is a dual purpose keg: it facilitates the inhalation of apple brandy fumes, and also dispenses fine apple brandy for consumption.
The spigot is also useful as a handle, but I think there’s a bit of cork in the spigot that might wear out.
From 2020 to 2024, my barrels had plain “black hoop” steel. In 2025 I’ve switched to galvanized steel, which should not rust.
Includes: Keg (with galvanized steel bands), plug, breathing tube, instructions, and a 2.5 gallon plastic bag for storage.
Apple Brandy not included.
