Radial Appliance: Frequently Asked Questions

There have been a lot of questions since I launched this website… about the Radial Appliance, Edgar Cayce’s approach to health, etc.

I have [Condition XYZ]. Will the Radial Appliance help with that?

The Radial Appliance works by repairing the energy body, and works best when used as a part of a complete wellness package.

Some people want to just buy health – by visiting the doctor, by buying the right herb. Edgar Cayce teaches that all healing is self-healing, and the Radial Appliance works best for people who use it to activate their own healing potential.

How is the Radial Appliance used?

The appliance has to be chilled by placing it in an icewater bath. When the appliance is chilled to temperature, it is attached to the body with wires and nickel-silver plates.

Enough ice should be used so that the appliance stays chilled for the entire length of the session, which can range from 20 minutes to 2 hours. The container should be small enough so that if the wires shift, the appliance cannot become submerged. 6 inches by 6 inches is a nice size.

Where are the wires attached?

There are a couple different locations. For regular usage, the wires are rotated around the wrists and ankles. The “advanced usage” document, included with these Radial Appliances, covers alternate attachment locations, such as the umbilicus & third eye, umbilicus and thoracic vertebrae, etc.

It’s important to rotate the wires so that the energies are distributed properly. One theory about how the Radial Appliance works is that the body’s subtle charge flows out the red wire, is processed in the Appliance’s chilled carbon steel core, then flows back in the black wire.

What happens if all the ice melts while I’m using my Radial Appliance?

It stops working until it is chilled again. There are no adverse effects from using a “warm” appliance, but there are no beneficial effects either.

Is it okay to use a metal container for my appliance?

No. The appliance CANNOT be used, stored, or charged on metal surfaces. To do so would adversely influence the vibrational properties of the Carbon Steel. If your appliance is inadvertently stored on a metal surface, it should be recharged in sunlight for at least 20 minutes.

The ideal containers are slightly larger than the Radial Appliance. Plastic containers are fine. When I first built my Appliance, I used a small ice chest, slightly larger than a six-pack of cans. This container was too large, as it required a lot of ice every time I wanted to use my Appliance.

I now use smaller, square plastic containers. These are about 6 inches by 6 inches, and 8″ tall. The gallon-sized sour creme containers used by some restaurants are nice too (and free). Ideally the container will not allow an appliance to fall over and become submerged in the water.

I forgot to add water to the ice when i used the device. Did I cause any harm to my Appliance?

No. The only requirement is that some quantity of ice is used. It may help to pre-chill your water in the refrigerator.

Can I charge the Appliance behind a window?

Depends: are your windows made of glass or quartz?  Glass is an electrical insulator, and blocks certain Ultraviolet wavelengths present in sunlight. Quartz allows more of these UV rays through.

The Appliance charges best when placed directly in the sunlight and/or moonlight.

(if any of you do have quartz windows, please email me!  🙂
